Photography Equipment
At Imagemakers we use the latest Nikon cameras and lenses. After much experimenting we found Nikon cameras and lenses are offer the best in Digital SLR technology. Capable of 8fps for 21 frames and 12 million pixels these cameras have the juice to create museum quality prints as large as 20x24, and unlike Canons "full frame sensor" Nikon utilize only the sweet spot and this lends to better overall image quality/sharpness. Of course, technology is always improving, and at ImageMakers we are dedicated to continually upgrading our equipment to ensure that we are always offering our clients the best available.
To capture the most picture information we shoot strictly in RAW format (click for info on why this is important). This gives us 16 bit color for the kind of detail most digital photographers miss.
To record these high resolution images we use 4GB Lexar compact flash cards. These high speed, high quality cards supply us with both the reliability and storage capacity our high resolution photography demands.
